Information stored by WorkoutDecks

WorkoutDecks stores information you enter, such as your profile name, workout decks, exercises, and workout history, to provide the app's features. This information may sync through Apple iCloud.

Sharing

If you use sharing features, the information you choose to share may be visible to the people you share it with.

Apple Health

If you enable Apple Health, WorkoutDecks asks for permission to write completed workouts to Apple Health as Functional Strength Training. WorkoutDecks does not request permission to read health data. HealthKit data is not used for advertising or tracking and is not shared with third parties by WorkoutDecks.

AI deck builder

When you use the AI deck builder, WorkoutDecks creates a temporary record in Apple CloudKit's public database. It contains the selected deck, exercise names available in your library, and settings for exercises you created or edited. It does not contain your profile details or workout history.

The record has an unguessable random name and expires for use after one hour. When you choose to open ChatGPT, WorkoutDecks copies only a short temporary code identifying that record. After you paste the code, the WorkoutDecks GPT fetches the record directly from CloudKit. WorkoutDecks attempts to delete the record when the handoff is completed, cancelled, replaced, or found expired.

Information fetched by ChatGPT is processed according to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. Cloud storage is provided according to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Voice scoring

If you turn on voice scoring for a hit/miss exercise, WorkoutDecks uses the microphone and Apple's on-device speech recognition to listen for the scoring commands shown in the app. Listening starts only after you tap Listen and stops when you turn it off or leave or finish the active set. Audio is not stored, uploaded, or shared.

Advertising and analytics

WorkoutDecks does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking, and does not sell your data.

Deletion and contact

You can delete your data in the app or through iCloud. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the WorkoutDecks App Store listing.
